Toronto Raptors Linkage – Aug 3
The Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors are two of the few teams in the East who made moves that could drastically improve their rosters. The world champion Boston Celtics lost their most coveted bench player, James Posey, and the Cleveland Cavaliers have yet to find more help for LeBron James. The Atlanta Hawks already lost one Josh to Europe and still have not re-signed the emerging Josh Smith. The Detroit Pistons’ veteran core failed in the postseason and their recent signing of Walter Herrmann hardly makes them more threatening.

Note: I am back in Toronto for part of the day, then travelling to a few different US cities between Sunday and Wednesday. Linkage will be up every day (fingers crossed), but probably at strange times, and maybe not as far reaching as usual. Should be back to normal Thursday or Friday.
