Best Raptor Ever - 5th Bracket
Sure, a broad question and one that could never be answered. But then we never thought we would be a .500 team this year, did we…
What we’ve done is come up with a knock-out bracket of Raptor players with the intention of crowning one player as the “best”. Up to you what that means: best, favourite, cutest, lesser of all evils…whatever. If nothing else, it can keep us from stabbing our eyes out with a pen.
Each bracket will be up for a few days and you can vote using the poll buttons beside this post.

Araujo vs. Bargnani?
Do I honestly have to vote for one of them? I’d rather gouge out my eyes with a spoon.

Spudz — I won’t dignify that with a reply. Oh wait, I just did.
Sure, both Hoffa and Bargnani have disappointed, but Hoffa will never have the ceiling that Bargnani has. I hope he’ll surprise us (in a good way) next year.

Hoffa was horrible, no doubt. But he TRIED.
Bargnani, IMO, didn’t look like he was TRYING very hard. I’m a prototypical Canadian, in the sense that I like to see players with effort. John Thomas was never the greatest athlete, but he had Vince/Delfino/etc beat in CONSISTENT EFFORT.

I was torn. Like Spudz. Loved Hoffas effort, but Bargs has the better shot at any longevity.
To this day I am still somewhat surprised that Hoffa didn’t improve in Utah.
