Carlos to bail?
With all the talk of Jose’s blog, one wonders why the Delfino blog is being overlooked.
A rough translation:
- he is now “free” for the first time
- he will now see who really wants him, how much they will pay for him and agree to his demands.
- also allows him to choose where he wants to play, where he will be most comfortable both playing the game and living
- he believes his NBA game has become much stronger
- he thinks he had a good season in Toronto and it was the first time he enjoyed and thrived in the NBA
- the season is long, with many ups and downs
- he expected the team to be better and advance in the playoffs
- this was the first year with extended minutes, plays called for him, and being asked for his input
- feels very comfortable in the city.
- teammates were fantastic and he enjoyed the different nationalities
- Toronto is very cold but also very beautiful
- he played 190 games (argentina, detroit, toronto) with no injuries
- his statistics aren’t great, but they don’t show his feelings
- he has great hopes for his continued growth in the NBA
- he came to Toronto knowing they wanted him, give him more minutes and the ability to grow and he did all of those things.
- he thinks he can grow much more and learning never stops
- for this reason, it is great that he is free to decide where to play and continue learning and growing

i overlooked it for two reasons:
1. i didn’t know it existed
2. i can’t speak freaky deaky
mostly, i’m not very concerned with him coming or going. i would be pissed if they re-upped him to $5 per, would have rather had mopete for that money.
with all this talk of jefferson, that is all i am hoping for at 2/3. probably the best case scenario.

Does EVERY player have a blog now?
Like is there a Joey Graham BLOG? So I can learn how Joey enjoys the gatorade on the BENCH?
Is the a Brezec Blog? So I can here him go GANSTER about Sam Vincent getting FIRED?
Is there a HOFFA blog? So I can learn how it feels to be out of the NBA and playing B-Ball is Russia. So you thought Toronto was cold try Siberia.

I’m not sure I’d put Delfino in the class of the guys you mention. After all, he is a pretty significant piece to his countries national team and he is a household name there.

I missed this post for some reason. Good find, Scott.
LOL @ Raptors Fan re: “freaky deaky”. I thought Delfino is Argentinian, not Dutch.
