It’s January 19th & Scott’s saying…

….this blog is definitely better than an Apple Air.  At least we don’t rip you off.

Right out of the box, even though they are aiming it at students, I urge all of you (that can) to wear a basketball jersey on Monday, paying respect & tribute to those lost to us in that horrible accident out east. If you can’t wear one to work/school, where it under your top or wear it when you get home at night. Simple and respectful….how typically Canadian.

You hear bitching and moaning about how to fix the Knicks, but this one article has some viable options. One of which is going after Chris Bosh when his deal is up. Good luck with that, boys.

I picked up Linas Kleiza in one of my fantasy leagues a week or so ago, looking for help in one category. Who knew he’d be hotter than Chris Bosh? I AM A FANTASY GOD.

Interesting read on how NBA properties decides they have the right to edit AP stories that appear on NBA.com to be team-friendly.  Now that TNT and the NBA have reached an agreement, one has to wonder if there will be some heavy editing fingers on broadcasts and websites.

Seems Damon is working on a buyout so he can join Phoenix or Boston. Toronto is still in the picture, though. Still have to wonder what we have that Memphis would want, though.

Nifty little online tour of the Phoenix Suns dressing room. Really hyping up the sponsors through ads, though, so that is kind of a put off to me. However, I find myself thinking that some innovative things like this would open up a small market (cough, raptors, cough) team that barely gets any play on national television in the US (cough, raptors, cough) to more eyes. Word of mouth works when done online and it would be great to see the boys from the North land on more computer screens as a team as opposed to pumping people for individual votes.

Finally, seems that Mark Cuban is thinking of hiring the Clippers superfan to pump up the crowds in Dallas. Um…may I suggest a turban wearing car selling jerk instead? He likes horses, I’m sure. (note that the Clippers superfan is ALSO a car salesman. Must be in their blood)

w00t.
