It’s December 28th And Scott’s Saying…..

…hope you all had a memorable Christmas break and are looking forward to the Spurs being mauled by the Dinos tonight.

Nice to read and hear that Colangelo is looking to shake things up a bit. Wonder if Jackie Moon is available. He might actually stand up for one of his teammates getting beat down. Failing that, I just have to hope that SOMEONE on the Raptors squad received some testicular fortitude for Christmas.

Seems the whole Tony Parker sausage party was made up. Playboy (!!) breaks it down in, really, quite a good way. We are still left wondering if Eva allows Tony to apply lipgloss for her, but some things may be best left unknown.

For such a festive time of year, a lot of hate is going on..and not just in our forums. Seems Pau Gasol is starting to hear boos in Memphis, Steve Kerr and Mike D’Antoni probably didn’t exchange gifts, Damon Jones and Ira Newble refused to enter a game, and Kenzaburo had his cheese taken away. Bitterness all around.

Ever hear of Charron Fisher?  Did you know that the leading scorer goes to Niagara, scoring 27pts and pulling down 10boards a game? Now you know. That is Charron. Here is his blog. You’re welcome.

Another gift for you shoe freaks: If you like Kobe and wondered what shoes he’s worn in his career, the answer is a lot.

No surprise that KG continues to lead the allstar balloting. I wish they would bring back some of the alumni to play. I think it would be a crowd pleaser. Here’s a look at what they did in 1984. Classic.

As we get ready to welcome 2008, you have to think the Knicks can only hope it gets better. Dolan is, by far, the worst owner in the world of sport. Wonder how often he goes to the Starbury to drown his sorrows.

That’s it. Enjoy the game.

  1. I’ll give him this: Kerr’s got balls of steel for taking that gig.

First, you’ve got an arrogant prick for a head coach. Second, you’ve got an owner with serious (Mark) Cuban Envy: he’d like to be hands-on, but clearly will not subsidize his team out of his own pocket to get to the next level. And this leads us to the third: Kerr’s first trades were a series of awful cost-cutting moves, sending Kurt Thomas and 2 future #1 picks (that’s two number ones) to Seattle for… nothing. Literally, nothing. This follows selling Rudy Fernandez, a #1, to Portland despite the fact that he wasn’t even coming over here this season. And in the long run, all of those moves are costing more money than they’re saving. They could have Luol Deng making a couple million this season; instead, they have Shawn Marion making $17 million. They could have Rajon Rondo for a million learning from Nash; instead, they have Marcus Banks for $5 million doing nothing. He’s in a no-win situation.
