Finally…finally….the Knicks sexual harassment case is settled. I didn’t know that the victim is now working in Buffalo. Good luck to her. This comes the day after another event that should make all who follow the NBA look up more excuses to make to non-fans. Getting harder and harder to do that. All this negativity, though, CAN be shrugged off if you just dig beneath the surface. One such feel-good story is courtesy of an ex-Raptor, still doing good at every NBA stop. Another amazing story that should make one smile and wonder: Pat Riley getting his 1200th win. Let that settle in and tell me that doesn’t warm the heart a little. His team didn’t make it to the finals last year, but the Cavaliers did. Most have Ainge getting the Executive of the Year award, but more and more people are thinking that, behind closed doors, another ex-player deserves it: Danny Ferry. Wonder if he would support using the NBDL as an official farm system for the NBA? I’ve watched a few NBDL games on Raptors TV and they are fun. Real fans, not people there to be seen. Unlike the NBA and, especially, Duke basketball. Bet they don’t have crappy team introductions. I’d rather have a college band playing as the players hit the floor than listen to Kanye’s “Stronger” everywhere I go. Yet another blogger has picked up on the fact that NBA intros are the worst ever. Maybe the in-game ops people have been laid off in favour of stat-heads, who give us such mindnumbing stats as this and this. Two more examples showing that our Raptors are nothing better than average.

Speaking of average….
