Raps drop like flies but dominate Memphis
With an eye to the inevitable injuries in a long season, general manager Bryan Colangelo has built a team-wide insurance policy in the form of the roster’s remarkable depth. With Bosh in the locker room, Toronto embarked on a 23-5 run to close the first half. It was accomplished with reserve Carlos Delfino scoring 10 of his game-high 14 first-half points and with Jose Calderon, starting in place of Ford, assisting on five different baskets in a span of just over six minutes.

Memphis, playing for the second consecutive night, never recovered, and never threatened again. With the win, Toronto improved to 8-7, while the Grizzlies fell to 5-10.
