Griz get selfish, fall to Raptors : Grizzlies : Commercial Appeal
The Grizzlies’ routine one-on-one play made for a stagnant offense, drained life out of their defense and effectively ended a two-game winning streak. The Grizzlies, whose free-flowing offense is predicated on ball movement, finished with a season-low 13 assists one night after amassing 32 assists during an impressive road win at New Jersey.
“We’ve got to learn to share the ball better,” Griz swingman Mike Miller said. “We have to move the basketball. When we do that, we’re pretty good. But that wasn’t the only thing that hurt us. We didn’t do a lot of things right. The whole key is to get back on defense and we didn’t.”
