It’s like home for Bosh, Ford

He and Devin Harris, who will matchup tonight, are two of the fastest guards in the league.

When Ford was with Milwaukee, he got to know Harris, who was at Wisconsin.

“He’s definitely quick,” Ford said of Harris. “He’s a big part of their success with his defensive intensity. It’ll be a lot of fun going against him.”

Ford knows there are people who won’t forget the injury that caused his career to be delayed.

“I know it’s going to be part of my life when I step on the court and fall, people remember the incident and always think that possibility could still occur,” Ford said.

Ford said he will have friends and family at tonight’s game from the Houston area. Like most NBA players who grew up in Texas, when they visit any team in the state, it’s like a homecoming.

“I just got one problem: I haven’t beaten Dallas since I’ve been in the NBA when I come to town,” he said. “I want to get a ‘W’ this year.”
