JS Online: Former starter takes relief role
It’s an important role, and Villanueva knows it, but that hasn’t made the transition an easy one.

The 6-foot-11 Villanueva scored 13 points in 14 minutes Wednesday night in the Bucks’ 102-99 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. He connected for all 13 points in the second quarter - on 5-for-8 shooting - but played just 4 minutes in the second half.

“I had things going early and was making shots, and the second half I didn’t see the court until the fourth quarter,” Villanueva said after practice Friday, as the Bucks prepared for a home game tonight against the Atlanta Hawks.

“It’s hard to do it like that. If that’s the way it’s going to be done, I guess I’m going to have to just deal with it.”
