The Sixers didn’t help themselves when Samuel Dalembert got into early foul trouble. He played just 19 minutes and had six points and six assists. Dalembert had a hard time against Toronto forward Chris Bosh, who had 24 points (16 of 18 free throws) and 10 rebounds.

Williams missed that crucial free throw with 15.2 seconds left. Iguodala missed a key free throw in the final seconds. Bosh blocked Andre Miller’s drive with 5.5 seconds left as he tried to tie the score. Then after Carlos Delfino missed both free throws with 4.2 seconds left, the Sixers couldn’t box out Bosh, who got the rebound and sank the clinching foul shot.

“We don’t have a lot of room for error,” Iguodala said. “The mistakes other teams make, we can’t make those.”
