TorontoSun.com - Basketball - Jamario’s half Moon, half amazing
Jamario Moon was speechless.

Having just scored his first NBA points on a rim-rocking dunk at the tail end of a Raptors fast break, Moon could not even respond when his teammates came over to congratulate him.

“It was lovely,” Moon said after his team’s 105-103 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. “It was a lot of pressure off me. I was speechless. I came to the sideline and I couldn’t say nothing. Everyone was like: ‘Good job Moon.’ ”

All Moon could do in return was nod.

At the age of 27 and having played in more minor basketball leagues than most people believe exist, Moon arrived last night in a big way and played his own key role in helping the Raptors end a three-game losing streak.
