Ineffective Bosh & Co. mauled by Milwaukee

For the second straight game, an athletic swingman scored at will on the Toronto defence. Two days removed from Ray Allen’s 33-point performance in a loss to Boston, the Bucks’ Desmond Mason hit all 10 of his shots from the field and racked up 21 points in 32 minutes. His frequent check, shooting specialist Jason Kapono, didn’t reciprocate in kind, scoring eight points on five field-goal attempts.
“At a certain point, a guy goes (10-for-10) … you’re getting touch fouls anyway, you might as well get you a good one, at least let him know it’s not going to be that easy all night,” Mitchell said. “We’ve just got to get a little more aggressive and we’ve got to get a little bit meaner.”
Wait….hasn’t this always been a problem? If so, why hasn’t it been addressed? Why continue bringing in fluffy Europeans and pretty boy shooters? DEFENDING AND INTIMIDATION WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS (and a playoff series).
