Ford guaranteed a win over Real Madrid and, mindful of the Memphis upset, quickly added his prediction was a “joke.” But with training camp almost two weeks old, Ford could offer at least one guarantee. “We definitely feel like we are improving,” he said. “This is the last game to end our trip and we definitely want to end a good note, especially with this long plane ride [back to Toronto].”
